My wonderful colleagues

During my sixteen years in the business, I’ve met a number of wonderful people. Happily enough many of these encounters have led to various joint projects. Now it’s time for me to present some of the persons I’ve worked with in the past and will continue to do so in 2008. 

In Wales

Olly runs the the Rock and Sea Adventures company in northern Wales. He has twenty years’ experience of the sea off the coast of Wales. Olly is one of Great Britain’s most experienced kayaking instructors and has the most prestigious qualifications within the field e.g. BCU level 5 sea coach and A.C.A Advanced Open Water Instructor.

During the Welsh tour we will be staying at Yvonne and Mike. They have transformed their 200-year-old house into a cosy B&B. Which is more like a home than a bed and breakfast. Yvonne’s heavenly cooking and the relaxed atmosphere have been praised by my customers and generally regarded as an important part of a successful kayaking week.

Wilderness Scotland

Wilderness Scotland stands for values that I hold close to my heart such as small groups, professional service and a genuine interest in furthering the cause of a greener travel industry. Besides various awards such as Business of the Year in Scotland (2005), Wilderness Scotland was also the recipient of the Responsible Tourism Award in 2006. This is an important recognition, not least because 1200 other companies also competed for the title.

The company executives are all active wilderness enthusiasts with a lengthy experience of travel and trekking and above all specialists with regards to Scotland. They know exactly how a successful trip should be set up. In co-operation with Wilderness Scotland, I will be arranging a kayaking tour on the beautiful western shore of Scotland.
