Mountaineering Sea Kayaking Ski Touring Glacier Courses Private Trips

Get an early start on summer in the Åland Islands.

Small and large islands of red granite. Behind the outlying islands the Baltic sea continues southwards and somewhere beyond the horizon lie the Baltic nations.

Kökar is one of the most beautiful areas in the Åland archipelago. There is the possibility of undertaking tours within the shelter of the islands or conditions permitting heading out to the desolate isles far out at sea. The idea of this tour is to jump the gun on the summer kayaking season. In May, life in the archipelago is still quiet. We can explore part of the outer archipelago before the summer tourists arrive.

We will be making day trips and living in cabins, which will be pleasant if the summer heat hasn’t reached the Finnish archipelago.

The tour fee covers food, accommodation, kayak rentals and equipment. We will make the crossing to Kökar by ferry from Korpo. Your only additional expense will be the journey to and from Korpo.
